Each and every cover is uniquely designed and hand made specifically for your Recreational Vehicle. Therefore, repairs and alterations are treated in the same individual way. In the rare event that a mistake happens due to human error during our handmade process and your CalMark Custom Cover is not made to the specifications that you have provided *your cover will be altered to correct the fit. CalMark will NOT entirely replace the whole cover. Instead, CalMark WILL partially replace/alter necessary areas to achieve the designed outcome and correct fit.
*Including covers who we have assisted in measuring Via Face-time, we have measured at our location in the past or we have used our established patterns.
Please reference the tips and information sent to you when you placed your order to assist possibly extending the life of your cover beyond the warranty. The information in the email provides useful precautionary information to protect your cover from sharp or protruding areas prior to installing the cover
CalMark Covers Warranty Policy – 4.1.2025
Warranty Duration:
CalMark Covers (“the Company”) provides a Limited Warranty with a duration of six (6) years for workmanship and components, and three (3) years for fabric, from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable.
What is covered under our warranty:
- Workmanship and Components (6 Years): The Company warrants that its products will be free from defects in workmanship and components at the time of initial manufacture and delivery. Components include zippers, buckles, straps, grommets, sewing, and all parts of the cover excluding the fabric. This warranty covers defects that significantly impair the product’s functionality for its intended purpose.
- Fabric (3 Years): The Company provides a three (3) year warranty on the fabric, which aligns with the warranty provided to us by the fabric manufacturers. This warranty covers defects in the fabric material itself.
Reason for Fabric Warranty Change:
Due to recent government bans and the discontinuation of PFAS chemical treatments in fabric, the Company is now limited to offering the same fabric warranty provided by our manufacturers. These “forever chemicals” previously extended fabric durability, but their removal necessitates aligning our fabric warranty with the manufacturer’s coverage
What is not covered under our warranty:
This warranty is comprehensive but has specific exclusions, including but not limited to:
- Natural Aging and Wear: This warranty does not extend to normal wear and tear, which includes the gradual deterioration of materials due to prolonged use and exposure to environmental factors.
- Environmental Degradation: Damage resulting from weathering, such as fading, discoloration, mildew, rot, or any other degradation caused by extended exposure to sunlight, UV radiation, rain, snow, hail, extreme temperatures, or other weather-related phenomena.
- Improper Handling and Storage: Damage or defects caused by improper use, mishandling, inadequate storage conditions, or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Physical Damage from Friction or Abrasion: Damage caused by the cover rubbing or chafing against the RV’s surface, regardless of the underlying cause.
- Extreme Weather Events: Damage directly or indirectly caused by excessive or unusually high winds.
- Thermal Damage: Damage caused by fire, hot embers, sparks, or any other source of extreme heat.
- Water Ingress and Damage: While the covers are designed to be water-resistant, they are not guaranteed to be completely waterproof. The warranty does not cover water damage to the RV or its contents.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Any alterations, repairs, or modifications made to the cover by the purchaser or any unauthorized third party will void this warranty.
- Indirect and Consequential Damages: The Company shall not be held liable for any incidental, indirect, consequential, or special damages.
- Tears, Wear Spots, Abrasion to the Fabric caused by Wind, Sharp Objects, Friction OR Tie Down
How to initiate a warranty claim:
- Notify CalMark Covers in writing or via email upon discovery of the alleged defect.
- Provide a valid proof of purchase.
- Submit a detailed description of the alleged defect, along with photographs or other evidence.
- The Company reserves the right to inspect the product.
- The Company will determine, at its sole discretion, whether the defect is covered under this warranty.
- If the claim is approved, the Company will, at its option, either repair or replace the defective product or component.
Shipping for Warranty Services:
Please do not ship your cover before starting a warranty claim.
For the rare cases in which CalMark made a mistake – CalMark WILL pay for shipping to and from our factory in Oxnard, CA.
For all remaining warranty repair services – As standard business practice YOU will be responsible for shipping charges to and from our factory in Oxnard, CA.
Legal Rights and Disclaimer:
- The Company makes no other warranties, expressed or implied, beyond those expressly stated herein.
A few things to consider:
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the cover is properly and securely fastened to the RV.
- The cover should be removed during severe weather conditions.
- Regular inspection of the cover is required.
- CalMark Covers is not responsible for damage caused by third-party services.
- Failure to adhere to these guidelines may void the warranty.
- Damages resulting from a 3rd party to this warranty agreement are not covered.
RV Cover – 6 Year Warranty
CalMark Cover Co. Inc. reserves the right to repair/alter or partially replace only the fabric that becomes unserviceable, from normal use under the terms of CalMark Cover Co. 6 year – limited warranty. Each and every cover is uniquely made, designed and hand made for your Recreational Vehicle. Therefore, repairs and alterations are treated in the same individual way.
In the event that there is human error (due to our unique Hand Made custom manufacturing methods) and your CalMark Custom Cover is not made correctly to the specifications that you have provided us with (or that we have measured for you, or have established patterns) your cover will be altered to rectify the fit and CalMark WILL pay for shipping to and from our factory in Oxnard, CA.
CalMark will NOT entirely replace the whole cover. CalMark WILL partially replace necessary areas to achieve the designed outcome and corrected fit.
WHAT IS COVERED UNDER CalMark’s WARRANTY?
The warranty covers both “Materials and Workmanship“.
All the components of your cover have a 6 year, deterioration and defect warranty. If any of the components fail during the warranty period, due to normal wear and tear, but not related to wind and friction damage, become unserviceable because of lost strength from normal exposure conditions. CalMark will repair your cover. YOU will be responsible for shipping charges to and from our factory in Oxnard, CA., for ALL warranty repair services.
The warranty does NOT cover tears, wear spots and abrasion to the fabric caused by wind, sharp objects, friction or tie downs. It is extremely important that you take precautionary steps to protect your cover from sharp or protruding areas, prior to installation, to assist the life of your cover beyond its warranty.

Moving your Recreational Vehicle with the cover on will terminate your warranty.
The warranty is also voided if the cover is modified in any way outside of the CalMark factory.
This warranty is not transferable and does not cover normal wear and tear, weathering or damage caused by improper use.
Your CalMark cover will NOT prevent hail damage, to your RV or to the cover itself. It is not covered under CalMark’s warranty.
In the event that there is human error and you have provided us with inaccurate measurements and your CalMark Custom Cover does not fit, CalMark WILL alter your cover to rectify the fit, at no charge to you, however YOU will be responsible for shipping your cover to and from our factory in Oxnard, CA. CalMark will NOT entirely replace the whole cover. CalMark WILL partially replace necessary areas to achieve the designed outcome and corrected fit.
